Why focus on what you don't like?
Wherever we place our attention, that is what grows both within us and around us; because what you focus on is powerful.
Have you ever noticed whatever mood you're in seems to compound, good or bad?
For example. . . when you're in a bad mood, bad moods are given back to you by others. . and when you're in a good mood, smiles are given back to you!
It's kinda like the saying. . "When you smile the whole world smiles with you."
That's because it's only natural, smiles are contagious, & they're also free. . .
I used to feel so silly when I smiled until I learned that there's nothing "attractive" about a scowl. Attractive both from a romantic standpoint as well as an energetic standpoint, because how is anybody supposed to bring in positive energy when they're repelling it with their own negative energy/expressions.
People who are happy are magnetic because life can be challenging at times for each one of us and the ability to play and be joyous amongst those challenges is an act of bravery. It's also refreshing, giving us a reason to keep going, and a safe place to play in such a serious world.
When you're faced with someone/something/someplace you don't like just don't focus on it. Because, if you focus on it then your dislike for it will grow until you're to the point where you're talking about it outside of when you're there, bringing your mind back to the situation you don't like and forcing you to relive the experience outside of the moments your in it. This will grow hatred for the experience and only grow your despise for it which will affect your mood in other areas of your life, making you more of a match for negative energies and less of a match for positive ones.
By focusing on what you like and shifting towards making the best of everything through what you can control you are practicing both mindfulness and gratitude, which are some of the highest vibrations you can have. After all the path to inner peace is mindfulness in Buddhism . . .and like Steve Harvey once said, "it's impossible to be upset and grateful at the same time."
I am indifferent to what I don't like and love everything I do like because I am grateful for everything that is good in my life and that is why I am blessed and become more blessed day by day.
Flip your blessings with your energy and attitude by developing a grateful heart. A grateful heart is the perfect soil for miracles, and if you don't believe me just look at the countless rags to riches stories of the individuals who talk about how becoming healthy mentally and physically has completely changed their life.
People want to work with, be with, and be around positive people because of how they make them feel. .no one remembers the things you do over the way you made them feel. Still, I can give you all the game but at the end of the day it all starts with YOU and how YOU feel. . so learn how to make yourself feel good by only giving your precious time and attention to what you LOVE and like. ;)
Xoxo ily mwuah!
